Salary – £26,000 pro rata
Holiday: 5 days
What you need – Predicted 2:2 degree
Location – Welwyn Garden City. Hertfordshire

Application deadline: We recruit on a rolling basis, which means roles will be filled on a first come first served approach, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
There'll be lots of opportunities to get stuck in. From managing plans and working collaboratively with colleagues across the globe, right through to real projects, where you'll be supported with training to develop your programme skills.
During your 10-week paid summer programme, you could be planning the rollout of our new checkouts to 2000+ stores, co-ordinating the development of a new payroll system or working on the development of brand-new mobile apps for our customers. Technology continues to change the face of retail and ours leads the way.
You'll be at the heart of our decision making, planning and coordinating the development and/or deployment of technology solutions in a safe and sustainable way. You'll work collaboratively with multiple teams across the business to find the best solutions for our customers, including communicating, planning and delivering them effectively. You'll ensure our solutions align to strategic goals, manage risks, create plans and track progress, working with software engineers and partners.
A successful internship with us can guarantee your place on our Technology Programme graduate programme when you graduate - before you’ve even started your final year of study.
We're looking for interns with a technical understanding, which will be assessed during the application process. We're looking for people with the ability to tackle diverse challenges whilst working collaboratively with their team.
A Technical Programme Manager collaborates with all teams, creates plans, manages technical risks, communicates with partners and coordinates technical aspects of projects.

Our leafy, green campus is 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden City with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and sports facilities. Close to the A1, and with frequent trains running to Finsbury Park in just 20 minutes (free shuttle buses take you between the station and office), the campus is well connected to the surrounding area.
On campus, you'll find subsidised restaurants and coffee shops, as well as a Tesco Express to pick up your lunch or last-minute essentials. We also have our Heart Building, a place where colleagues can connect and come together, to unlock innovation and collaboration and a place where they can network and socialise. Plus we have an on-site Nuffield Health gym, which has state-of-the-art equipment, studios for classes, plus treatment rooms (membership costs £23.50 per month).
